Massachusetts 8 day weight driven mahogany gold front banjo clock, c1840
CONDITION:
the movement in this clock has flat brass crutch wire, this is a late c1870 or later Hatch or Tifft style banjo which originally had black & gilt glasses and has been fixed up to look earlier. Gilt rope door and throat later and both glasses replaced. The finial is not original. Ht 33"
